How to dry orange slices for Christmas decorations.
You will need:
Oranges
An oven
A knife
An oven rack
Baking paper
Slice the oranges approximately 1cm wide
Place them on a sheet of baking paper on an oven rack

Pop them in the oven at a low temperature, I put mine in at 120c
Leave them in the oven for 3 hours or until dry, remembering to turn them every half an hour or so to keep them even and check on them regularly because they burn easily!

Once cooled, you can add ribbon or string to hang them on the tree. You could also attach them to wreaths, garlands or even Christmas presents with some cinnamon sticks or fir sprigs!

Hope you’re having a lovely start to December!

I’ve always wondered how difficult drying oranges for Christmas decorations would be! Do you think you could sprinkle them with cinnamon before putting in the oven to create a powerful Christmas scent? 😍 Thank you for sharing ☺️

I’ve had a quick look on Google and other people have suggested that so I don’t see why not! They would smell amazing 🥰 Thanks for reading my post!

Thanks! Wasn’t sure whether the cinnamon would just fall straight off of the dried oranges 🤣 Will have to give it a try ☺️xx
