★ I spontaneously started my Christmas shopping – I don’t usually start this early but I found something perfect for someone and I couldn’t resist
Things I am Grateful For This Month
Family, history and old photographs – Working on my family tree has made me very grateful for all the generations that came before me. I wouldn’t be here without them
That last heatwave of the Summer and Will getting a day off work so we could enjoy the last bank holiday together before Christmas! The weather was amazing so we went to the New Forest
My family all teaming up to surprise my Dad with a trip to NYC for his 50th. We managed to keep the secret!
3 Things I am Looking Forward To Over The Next Month
Autumnal blog posts
The colder weather – I’m ready for cosy duvets and sweater weather!
I’ve always said August is like one long Sunday at the end of the summer and this one was no exception. The weather wasn’t always perfect but it was relaxing nonetheless. Celebrating birthdays, lazy afternoons surrounded by old photographs, sunny walks round the New Forest, dinners with my family. I had a really lovely month!
September has arrived with a cool breeze, rainy mornings and crisp golden leaves. Autumn is here a little bit early but that’s okay, I’m more than ready!
Hope you’ve had a beautiful start to September
