Autumn Homeware Haul

One of the best places to find autumn homeware in the UK is TK Maxx or it’s sister store Homesense. They always have a big selection of Autumn and Halloween Homeware from kitchenware to candles, to cushions and wall art. Last year I was a little too late and by the time I thought to go to a store, there was hardly any Autumn stock left. This year I was ready for them! I’d saved up some spending money and treated myself to some Autumn homeware…

Pumpkin & Sea Salt Double Wick Candle, DW Home (27.9oz)

This candle smells incredible. It smells sweet like salted caramel but there’s definitely a fresh pumpkin smell that helps balance it out. I haven’t lit it yet but I haven’t felt like I need to. I’ve put it on a windowsill next to my front door and the scent is so strong it’s the first thing you can smell when you walk in! It is also beautiful. The wax is pale blue and it’s in a little rustic looking tin that makes such a nice change from the usual jars.

Set of 2 Witches Be Trippin Tea Towels, Noir Night

I couldn’t resist this set of 2 orange striped tea towels! There were lots of very Halloweeny options covered in skulls and pumpkins but I liked that the ‘Witches be Trippin’ design is so simple but fun.

Pumpkin Spice Thanks & Giving Jar Candle, DW Home (12.4oz)

This pumpkin spice scented candle doesn’t just smell amazing but it also looks beautiful. It comes in a red-tinted jar with writing printed on the front. It was a little difficult to capture on camera but it says ‘Let our hearts be full of thanks & giving’. It has a light copper lid and little owl on the top and looks so beautiful on my bookshelves. It burns really well and smells warm like festive spices!

Set of 2 Stemless Wine Glasses, Sheffield Home

Another Halloween purchase – a set of 2 stemless wine glasses. One has a golden skull and crossbones and has ‘Pick Your Poison!’ written on it. The other has a golden witches hat and says ‘It’s Ghouls Night!’. Like the tea towels, they’re just so simple but fun and I can’t wait to start using them a little closer to Halloween!

White Pumpkin & Vanilla Coconut Wax Blend Candle, DW Naturals

This tiny little candle is made from a coconut wax blend and smells of creamy vanilla, sweet pumpkin, cinnamon and smoked wood. It reminded me of the smell of tealights in pumpkins on Halloween night. Such a warm, cosy scent!

Trick or Treat Bowl, Rae Dunn

I saw this ceramic trick or treat bowl on a previous trip to TK Maxx and loved it so much I had to go back for it! It’s available on the website now so I wouldn’t have missed out but I am so happy with it. It’s quite large in size, it’s bright orange on the inside and white on the outside. Around the trim, it has little illustrations of cauldrons, witches hats and shoes, and broomsticks and it has ‘Trick or Treat’ written across the front. I just know that this is something I will be excited to use every year!

The whole flat is looking so cosy at the moment with a little bit of autumn in every room. I just need the weather to cool down a bit so I can wear more jumpers and boots!!!
I hope you’re having a lovely September!
