If you haven’t already noticed, I love autumn. This week I decided to make an autumn wreath! It was so easy to make and is a great addition to my living room.
I find all my craft supplies online on sights like eBay and Amazon.
For my wreath I used:
30cm natural wreath frame
Crafts berries and acorns
Artificial sunflower heads
A small artificial pumpkin
Fabric autumn leaves.
To start, I twisted the berries around the wreath making some tight to the frame and others twist outwards for variation.
I then randomly placed the acorns. Because of the structure of the wreath frame, I found I could weave some of the acorns into the wood. Others, I attached with a glue gun.
At the base of the wreath, I attached some fabric leaves, alternating the colours. On top of the leaves, I attached the sunflower heads. My little pumpkin comfortably sits on top but you could also use a glue gun to attach it to the wreath.
And that’s it! All finished.
I didn’t really have a plan for my wreath, I made it up as I went along. I think as long as you have some autumnal craft supplies you can make the wreath however you want! Wreaths are just so simple to make and look so beautiful once they’re finished. I definitely recommend looking on Pinterest for more inspiration – there are some amazing ideas out there!
