Last Minute Super Bowl Ideas: Easy Popcorn Recipe

Will is an NFL fan and loves to watch the Super Bowl every year. I used to roll my eyes and let him get on with it – staying up all night watching sport was not my idea of fun. Then, in 2014, I watched my first game and everything changed.

The Super Bowl has become a pretty big event in our household. We set up the living room with duvets and pillows (I often fall asleep around the third quarter – a downside of living in the UK and having to watch it in the middle of the night!!) get plenty of pizzas, chicken, themed snacks and make a night of it!

This year I’m working during the day so I don’t have a lot of time to contribute to the food but as it’s my 5th Super Bowl I didn’t want to miss out on the fun. So I found some Super Bowl-themedΒ foods that are both quick and easy to make.

All you need is a big bag of popcorn and sweets in your team’s colours!

We used sweet popcorn, chocolate M&Ms in red and blue, and white mini marshmallows. We mixed it all in a large mixing bowl before serving it in a ceramic popcorn cone.

It’s so easy and soo yummy!

Keep an eye out for my easy football brownies and Patriots cocktail recipe this weekend!
