I have seen hundreds of mason jar related crafts on Pinterest and Instagram this month and I am always in awe of how these projects turn out so I just had to give it a go for myself!
For this craft, I used 3 jars. You can find mason jars at your local craft store or you could use old jars from your recycling like I did!
I used acrylic paint to paint each jar a different colour.
When the jars were completely coated and dry, I used jute twine to wrap around the top of the jar, leaving the ends long enough to tie on some decorations.
For decoration, I used seasonal things that I had around the house including a dried orange slice, cinnamon stick and pine cones (all taken from a bowl of potpourri) and some little pumpkins that fell off some old Halloween fairy lights.
Finally, I added some artificial flowers and dried leaves!
I enjoyed this craft so much. It was so easy to make, didn’t cost me anything, and the finished jars look great on my dining table!
I hope you had a lovely week and that you’re enjoying the run up to Halloween!
Not long now!
