Title: I’ll Give You The SunIMG_0690_edited
Author: Jandy Nelson
Published: 2015
Length: 432 pages

What it’s about (synopsis via Goodreads):

Jude and her twin brother, Noah, are incredibly close. At thirteen, isolated Noah draws constantly and is falling in love with the charismatic boy next door, while daredevil Jude cliff-dives and wears red-red lipstick and does the talking for both of them. But three years later, Jude and Noah are barely speaking. Something has happened to wreck the twins in different and dramatic ways . . . until Jude meets a cocky, broken, beautiful boy, as well as someone else—an even more unpredictable new force in her life. The early years are Noah’s story to tell. The later years are Jude’s. What the twins don’t realize is that they each have only half the story, and if they could just find their way back to one another, they’d have a chance to remake their world.

How I got it: I bought it from Waterstones

When I got it: Around June 2015 when I had no books left on my TBR list for the first time in ages!!!

Why I want to read it: I have heard so many lovely things about this book from so many different people. It sounds like a beautiful story. And the book looks beautiful too! I don’t normally judge a book by what it looks like but this one has a beautiful orange cover and the edges of the pages match! Inside the book there are ink splatters across some of the pages that make it look so unique and personal.  I’m looking forward to reading it!
